Nieuwe Garde Stripmarkt 2025
On March 8, 2025, the fourth edition of the Nieuwe Garde Comics Market will take place in the Grote Kerk Academiehuis in Zwolle. With 150 young, diverse and innovative comic book creators from the Netherlands and Belgium, the Academiehuis Grote Kerk in the heart of Zwolle will again be filled to the brim with comics, merchandise, comics, manga and more.
On March 8, 2025, the fourth edition of the Nieuwe Garde Comics Market will take place in the Grote Kerk Academiehuis in Zwolle. With 150 young, diverse and innovative comic book creators from the Netherlands and Belgium, the Academiehuis Grote Kerk in the heart of Zwolle will again be filled to the brim with comics, merchandise, comics, manga and more.
Er zijn workshops voor kinderen en volwassenen: Indi Vos maakt doorgeefstrips met kinderen, Octavia Roodt maakt stripgedichten met het publiek en Grafisch Atelier het Lichthuis gaat de hele dag RISO-printen. Daarnaast is er een expositie met werk van studenten van ArtEZ Zwolle en het LUCA School of Arts in Brussel, waarmee de nieuwste generatie stripmakers zich presenteert aan het publiek.
Het festival wordt afgesloten met een borrel en expositie bij culturele broedplaats de Achtergracht, vanaf 19:30. Deze avond wordt georganiseerd in samenwerking met het Zwolse stripmakerscollectief Lovely, dat tijdens de borrel hun werk exposeert.
