Atmospheric and intimate under 600-year-old vaults
Experience a lecture, meeting or beautiful concert in a unique ambiance in the recently restored North aisle.
The North Choir used to be called the Magistrates' or Our Lady's Choir, and it had a separate entrance. The choir houses the very oldest part of Zwolle: a wall of the original Romanesque church from 1050 has been exposed here. The space is special because it is almost completely walled in and compared to other parts of the church, has a lot of windows. Now you are welcome to host your meeting or reception here.
Facilities
In the North Choir we have had multifunctional furniture installed which is suitable for meetings and gatherings of up to 64 people. Depending on what is needed, we can also create a theater setup up to 120 people.
The North Choir is available with the following facilities:
- HDTV 55 inches with HDMI
- Sound system
- Extension available on request

Depending on the arrangement, the North Choir offers space for:
Theater seating: 120 people
U-shape:64 people
Square seating arrangement: 48 people
Dinner setup: 64 people
The square arrangement and U-shape are ideal for meetings and discussions. For a smaller wedding ceremony, the North Choir is also suitable.
